Yes. We carry goods in transit insurance and public liability insurance, so your belongings are covered from collection to delivery. Proof of insurance is available on request — just ask before you book.
What happens if something gets damaged during the move? +
Our goods in transit insurance covers your belongings while they're in the van. Tell us straight away if anything is damaged and we'll deal with it. Blankets and straps are used as standard to prevent damage in the first place.
What items can't you move? +
We can move almost anything that fits in a Transit van. We can't carry hazardous materials, flammable liquids, live animals, or anything illegal. If you're unsure about an item, call and ask.
What We Move
Can you collect an item I've bought on Facebook Marketplace? +
Yes — Marketplace collections are one of the most common jobs we do. Send us the seller's postcode and your delivery address and we'll give you a fixed price. Same-day collection is often possible if you call early.
Can you collect from eBay or Gumtree sellers? +
Yes. We collect from eBay, Gumtree, auction houses, private sellers and shops across West Yorkshire. You don't need to be at the collection address, as long as the seller is expecting us and the item is paid for.
Will a sofa fit in your van? +
Yes. A standard 2 or 3-seater sofa fits comfortably in our Ford Transit LWB, with blankets and straps to protect it. Corner sofas and larger units usually fit too — send a photo and we'll confirm before you book.
Can you move white goods like a washing machine or fridge? +
Yes. We move washing machines, fridge freezers, cookers, dishwashers and tumble dryers regularly. Please disconnect and drain appliances before collection — we can't plumb them in or out.
What size van do you use and what will fit in it? +
We run a Ford Transit Long Wheelbase (LWB). It holds the contents of a 1–2 bedroom flat in a single trip, or large individual items such as sofas, wardrobes, beds and white goods.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials? +
Blankets, straps and a trolley are included free on every job. We don't supply boxes as standard but can source them on request — otherwise supermarkets and local storage firms are usually the cheapest option.
